Up on this Saturday morning experimenting with technologies that I have been hearing about lately. Attended the NCSLMA(N.C. School Library Media Association) conference in Winston-Salem, N.C. (11-15+16) and wanted to tinker with the open source programs mentioned and/or used by several presenters.
I am especially intrigued by educational applications of social networks like SecondLife, but wonder if I will have time to complete Orientation Island in time to attend an event that I learned about on Twitter this morning.
